Summary: Calleigh breaks into Horatio house.

Calleigh stood outside of Horatio's condo looking around. She saw no one so she went around to the back and crawled inside. Once inside she looked around. It was so bare. He didn't have much decoration or pictures except one. She walked over to it to get a better look at it and saw that it was a picture of her on the beach with Horatio. He was holding her in his arms above the water about to drop her in it. She blushed but kept moving. She went down the hall and into his bedroom. When she got inside she went to his dresser to get a pair of black boxers hoping that he wouldn't notice that they were gone. She heard what sounded like keys in the door and she bolted over to the closet leaving the door open just enough so she could see outside.

Horatio walked into the room and sat down on the edge of the bed rubbing his eyes and running his hand through his hair tousling it. She covered her mouth so that he didn't hear her squeak of excitement. He took his shoes off and then he pulled his shirt off revealing a perfectly toned and tanned chest. She licked her lips at the sight of him. He turned around to the closet and walked over. Calleigh realized that he was going to find her and she scrambled back trying to hide deeper in the closet. But it was no use he opened the door and looked at her his expression a mixture of shock and delight. She looked up at him not sure if he was angry or not.

"Hey handsome," she said as he just looked at her blankly. She stole another look at his chest and he chuckled.

"This is unexpected," he said helping her out of the small closet. She smiled up at him weakly. He looked so handsome with his shirt off she couldn't help but change to her flirty smile. He grinned back at her and her heart did flip-flops in her stomach.

"Care to explain what you were doing in my closet?" he asked her his bright blue eyes twinkling.

"How about you guess," she told him thickening her accent. He looked at her like he was thinking then he smiled at her.

"You bet Eric you could break in," he told her grabbing the pair of black boxers she was holding. "And, you were going to use these as proof," he finished. She looked up at him widening her eyes and tilting her head to the side.

"You got me," she told him shrugging her shoulders. He smiled and went to put the boxers away. "Can I keep them?" she asked him? He nodded and handed them back to her. He went over to the closet to put on a shirt but she grabbed his hand to stop him. He turned around to look at her and she smiled.

"First you break into my house steal a pair of my boxers and now you won't let me put a shirt on," he teased her but he stepped away from the closet. She smiled up at him and she knew that he could see the love in her eyes. He had the same look in his. She moved closer to him and ran her hands up his chest then tangled them in his hair. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her. It was a soft passionate kiss. The alarms in Calleigh's head were going off but she ignored them and surrendered to him. She tasted his lips and ran her hands up his chest and down his back loving the way his skin felt against her hands. She wrapped a leg around his waist and pulled him closer to her completely shattering the wall that she had hidden behind for so long. He pushed her onto the bed and a shiver of excitement ran down her spine. The boxers she had been hanging onto so tightly fell to the floor forgotten.

Calleigh stood in the bathroom looking at herself in the mirror. She was a wreck. Her eyes were red and puffy and her make up was smeared. She washed her face with cold water. Horatio was an unpredictable person. One day he was holding her telling her he loved her and would never hurt her and the next he would be telling her that he couldn't be with her anymore it was to complicated. Not only did he break her heart he did it in front of Eric and Ryan.

When she had seen him walking towards her she had smiled but then stopped when she saw the look on his face. He had taken her hand and told her that they couldn't keep seeing each other because it was just so complicated. She sank to the floor trying to keep the room in focus but she felt dizzy. She broke into tears and Eric pulled her into his arms in an attempt to comfort her. It didn't help much but she was to weak to argue. She looked up and saw Ryan running down the hall after Horatio. Eric helped her to her feet and hugged her before he let her go tears still streaming down he cheeks.

"Calleigh, go home I'll cover for you," he told her. She was to hurt to argue so she just nodded and let him walk her to her car. Now here she was alone in her apartment. She had to get out of it, everything reminded her of him. She grabbed her keys and went to her car. She started driving not registering where she was going just driving. She parked her car and took her shoes off and walked on to the beach barefoot. She walked towards the water looking straight ahead. Her eyes were open but she saw nothing she only saw darkness. She sat down on the sand and dug her feet into the warm grains. She looked at the water wondering how he felt right now. If he felt like he was going to bleed to death from a broken heart. She put her head on her knees and cried.

Calleigh sat on the beach for hours hoping that maybe he'd change his mind and come find her. Of course she knew that he wouldn't. She stood up and slowly dragged her feet to her car. She drove home and when she got there she just stood looking around not sure what to do. She felt empty and didn't feel like doing anything except lay in bed and try to sleep to try to keep her thoughts off of Horatio for just a minute. She walked to her bedroom and stripped down to her underwear. She slipped into bed and closed her eyes trying to forget but it was useless. The pillow still smelled like him. She curled up holding the Horatio scented pillow close to her and tried to sleep. She fell asleep eventually but never stayed asleep for long. She was woken up to someone opening her bedroom door. She sat up and tried to focus on the figure in the doorway. The person was about six feet tall and was wearing a suit. His red hair shone bright in the dark room. He slowly walked towards her and she lay back down and tried not to cry.

"How did you get in?" she asked him letting the blankets fall past her waist so he had a clear view of her in her black lacy underwear. He sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at her. Even though it was dark she could she the confusion and the pain swimming in his eyes.

"Your door was unlocked," he told her keeping his voice normal. He turned to look at her and she noticed that his eyes trailed up her body looking at the lace then finally looking into her eyes. She sat up and scooted a little closer to her. "Ryan confronted me and told me that what I did was wrong. He said that I broke your heart in front of your friends and co-workers. He told me to come here and apologize or he would shoot me," Horatio told her sadness etching into his voice. She looked at him not sure what to think or do. She finally looked into his eyes and smiled. "Calleigh, will you please forgive me and take me back?" he asked her putting a hand on her leg. She wanted to say yes but she also wanted to say no and to make him go through what she had went through.

She nodded and he pulled her into his arms and held her tightly. "You're really gonna have to make it up to me. It take a lot to mend a broken heart," she told him. He pulled back and smiled at her.

"Got anything in mind?" he asked her. She would have answered but Horatio had pulled her into a heated kiss.
