A/N:Thanks Lizzy for helping me with words and grammar! Love ya!

"I love you. I will ever love you. Nobody else but you. You're the only man I want and that wouldn't change 'til I die. And you know it. You know it! The only thing that makes you do nothing but hurt me is that you don't believe it. Do you know what you do to me?"

"I do."

"So you have fun by hurting me?"

"No. No, Sara. It's just-"

"It's just what, Grissom? I'm not a Punching-Ball! I live! I feel! You're not the only person in the world who has feelings!"

"I know. I just can't handle the pain."

"What pain, Grissom? There's no pain for you! Much pain for me, yeah. But see, I'm here. Just a few steps away from you. And you stand there, looking at me... and do nothing. I can see in your eyes that it doesn't leave you cold that you hurt me. So change it! Please, Grissom, trust me. Nobody else can make me happy. Only you. Do it. Help me out of this shit. I can't tell how much more pain I could suffer. I just know it's not much."

"Sara... You will find another man. A man of your own age."

"No, I won't. If you think so, you really don't know me at all."

Grissom just stared at her. He didn't know what to say. Yeah, maybe he didn't know her. Maybe she was right. Maybe she was right with everything she said. But 'maybe' wasn't enough. Maybe couldn't take his doubts away. Maybe couldn't make him try.

"Sara..." He gave up. There was nothing left to say. He wouldn't do anything in that direction.

"Fine, Grissom. Just fine."

"What do you want from me, Sara?"

"If you had listened to me, you would know."

"I'd heard you."

"So what's the problem? Am I so hard to understand? So I make it easier for you: I want you to be honest to me."

"You want me to be honest? Of what?"

"Don't play with me, Grissom. You know what I mean."

He could see the tears in her eyes. What did he do? Hurt her again. Just because he's too afraid to love her.

"I can't, Sara.", he said helpless.

"You can't? Of course you can! See, Grissom. I wouldn't say you can if I'm not totally sure that it's true." „In this case, you're wrong."

Sara came a little closer to him and her nearness made him nervous. It's so hard to control feelings. He knew it. He almost lost his so often. She had been often close to him... But never so close like today. Never before she'd make him breathless like this.

And then she kissed him. Her lips softly touched his and her fingers played with his. It was like kissing an angel. She must be an angel, because he felt like being in heaven.

When she broke the kiss, he could see a little tear running down her cheek.

"I'm not wrong.", she said and more tears collect in her eyes.

"No, you're not. You're right."

A smile crossed her face when she heard his words and looked into his eyes.

"You know, when I came here tonight, I just wanted to say goodbye and wish you wonderful dreams."

"So this is a dream?"

She kissed him again.

"It would be a dream if..."

"If what?"

"If you would say you love me."

Grissom smiled, pulled her into his arms and whispered: "I love you. And this isn't a dream."

With this, he began to kiss her whole face, starting at her nose and ended by losing himself in their kiss. A kiss full of passion, love and a promise. A promise that will rest for life.

The End
