How season three should have ended. Fluff and stuff, you know the works.
A/N: So this is set after the season three kick off episode, I'm in my happy place and no one can get me there. This is my alternate ending.
Lindsay looked up from the microscope and caught sight of Mac. She smiled at the sight of him and got up to go over to him, needing to talk to him. She knew it was crazy, that the feelings she had for him couldn't be allowed, but she couldn't help it. She had fallen for Mac and wanted so badly to touch him, as more than just an employee. She knew he was warm, and his skin was soft. Occasionally their hands would brush against each other, her skin always burned and she couldn't help the butterflies she got in her stomach. She quickly walked up to him and he stopped and smiled.
"Well hello Lindsay, can I help you with something?" he asked her. He was smiling and she allowed herself to smile brightly back at him, enjoying the knowledge he only smiled like that for her.
"Well I was hoping you could pint me in the direction of a good restaurant. I'm starving and I'm afraid I haven't experienced much of the restaurants around here, most of its your fault," she added grinning. He laughed and they turned the corner heading into the locker room.
"I'm afraid I can't think of any off of the top of my head. But I am told I'm a pretty good cook..." he let his voice trail off and grinned down at her. She smiled and closed her locker leaning against the closed door. He stood in front of her and hesitantly moved his hands to her hips.
"Are you coming on to me?" she teased. He graced her with a half smile before lowering his lips to her ear and whispering a reply.
"Only if you let me," he said. She turned her face to catch his eyes and grinned mischievously. Lindsay put her hand on the back of his head and brought his lips down to hers, placing a soft kiss on his lips. Mac tried to deepen it but she moved her head and his lips landed on her neck. Lindsay wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his neck. Mac grinned and continued to kiss her neck, nipping the tender skin gently between his teeth. Lindsay moved her arms to his neck and he pushed her against her locker and kissed her, harder than before.
Lindsay moaned into the kiss and wrapped her legs around his waist pleased with the reaction she got from him. Mac broke the kiss and tilted her chin up to look at her.
"Let's go somewhere a little more private," he said softly. Lindsay smiled and let go of him, then kissed his cheek before pulling her coat and purse out of her locker.
Lindsay kissed Mac's neck and wrapped her arms around his waist while he fumbled with his keys. He finally got the door open and they stumbled inside his apartment and landed on the ground. Lindsay grinned down at Mac and kicked the door shut then brought her lips to his for a sweet kiss. Mac quickly rolled her over and held Lindsay's hands above her head. She ground her hips into his and grinned when he gasped and bit her shoulder.
"Didn't take you for a bitter Mac," she said. Their breathing was out of control, and so were they. He grinned and undid her shirt then pulled it off of her and kissed her shoulder.
"You have so much to learn," he whispered in her ear. She laughed and tried to free her wrists from where he was holding them above her head but he wouldn't let her go so she gave up and let him do what he was doing.
Mac pushed her bra strap off of her shoulder and kissed the soft skin then looked up at her asking her a silent question. Lindsay grinned at what he was suggesting but nodded and he let go of her hands and bit her shoulder. She dug her nails into his back and clawed at his shirt trying to pull it out of his pants. She finally managed to get it over his head and then pulled the white shirt he was wearing off. Mac looked up at her and she wiggled out from underneath him then rolled him over and climbed on top of him, grinning a devilish grin.
"So do you," she whispered in his ear. Mac grinned and brought his hands to the small of her back pulling her as close as possible then he kissed her hard. All the passion they felt for each other poured into the kiss. Their lips parted and their tongues became engaged in a battle that neither was winning. Mac kicked his shoes off and Lindsay did the same then she reached for his zipper. She slowly undid feeling the anxiety in his kiss, but enjoying the power she had over him. Mac pushed the pants off of his legs and they landed next to the rest of his clothes, he then took Lindsay's off.
"You know, I never thought I'd find myself in this situation," Mac murmured into her ear. She laughed and looked into his blue eyes.
"What situation is that?"
"A beautiful woman on top of me, in my apartment. Let alone you on top of me, doing things with your tongue that..." his voice trailed off and she brought her lips to his neck then darted her tongue across his skin. He shuddered and she smiled to herself then trailed her tongue down to his hips. She kissed her way from one hip to the other and played with the waistband of his boxers. Mac grabbed her hand and looked at her. She grinned and grabbed his hand then pulled him back to the bedroom.
Lindsay pulled him on top of her and quickly got rid of the rest of his clothes, then let him do the same to her. He grinned and she laughed then kissed him again.
Stella knocked on Mac's door for the second time and finally heard footsteps. They were soft footsteps, like those of a small woman, not a man. Lindsay finished buttoning up Mac's blue shirt and opened the door. Mac came stumbling out of the bedroom a few seconds later pulling a pair of blue jeans on over his boxers. He walked up beside Lindsay then realized why she was so quiet.
"Well then, that would be why you're not at work. You had better things to...do," Stella said then turned and left. Lindsay closed the door and Mac wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her.
"We should go, we're already late," Lindsay said into the kiss.
"I'll write you a note," he said. She laughed and unzipped his pants. He pulled the shirt over her head and led her over to the couch, falling on top of her. Mac kissed Lindsay again and she deepened it, both never wanting it to end.
