Author's Chapter Notes:
Ryan and Jesse take some time for themselves before he goes back to work

Standing on the balcony of her suite, Jesse's nightgown swayed with the cool tropical breeze. She was very thankful that Horatio surprised her with a trip to the Keys and offered to take little H for the week before Ryan returned to work. It gave them a chance to be by themselves without the baby and everything else. She couldn't believe that almost a month ago she almost the most important person, besides Horatio, in her life. He was her heart and soul. She would never give him up for the world. Turning, she watched him sleep in the queen-sized bed.

Horatio was the only who knew where they were staying, so if anything came up, he could call them, but she knew her father wouldn't interrupt private moments they'd wanted to share together. She didn't mind the rest of the CSI team; to her they were part of his life as she was. She'd seen how they treated him after Speed's death, the nail incident that almost cost him his job and eye sight, through his gambling problem, and after Horatio's "death", but she knew that she was his and no one else could take her place. She closed her eyes remembering one special time in particular.

They stopped in front their suite door, kissing and nuzzling each other. She looked deep into his brown eyes, smiling. "Oh, darling. This is so perfect."
Leaning her against the door, he kissed her passionately. Opening the door, he carried her over the threshold. "Here you are, Mrs. Wolfe."
She beamed brightly. "I love the sound of that." Setting her down, she looked around the room, gasping. It was filled with purple roses, her favorite, and soft candlelight glowing throughout the room, allowing a soft vanilla aroma waved through the air. Her favorite things that only he knew and one other person. She kissed him hungrily. "How did you get all this done?"
He picked up the remote and soft music began to play. "Before we left. Horatio helped me out with the arrangements." He turned her, unzipping her dress. It floated to the floor. "You like it?"
She responded by grabbing him and headed towards the bedroom. She undid the buttons on his shirt one by one, allowing it to expose his muscular chest. She slid the shirt off his shoulders. "I love it."
He gently pushed her onto the bed. "I'm glad you love it." His hands trailed down her body, stopping right below her stomach. He gazed deep into her eyes, kissing her. "I love you so much."
She looked at him, her green eyes filled with desire. "I love you, too, and nothing in the world can ever tear us apart."
They disrobed each other, savoring each moment together. She hung on tight as they climbed towards paradise.

She felt gentle arms wrap around her waist, bringing her out of her thoughts.
He kissed her neck. "What were thinking about?"
She turned, returning the kiss. "Us."
He lifted her up, carrying her towards the bed. Setting her down gently, he began to remove her nightgown. "Have I told you that I love you."
"No, you haven't." Smiling she said, "I love you, too." She clung onto him as he made love to her once again.
